What stays in your browser
The calculator stores your ingredients and serving count in your browser’s local storage. This lets your meal remain available when you return using the same browser. Use “Clear all” in the calculator to clear the saved meal, or clear this site’s browser data. Saved data remains in that browser until it is cleared.
Meal calculations and recipe PDFs are generated in your browser. We do not send the contents of your saved meal to a server. Search terms, serving counts and selected views may appear in the page address; avoid entering sensitive information.
Hosting and website requests
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. When you visit a page, Cloudflare receives technical request information, such as your IP address, the requested URL and browser information, to deliver and protect the service. This is separate from the meal data stored in your browser. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of this information.
Accounts, advertising and analytics
CarbPortion currently has no user accounts, advertising scripts or visitor analytics scripts. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts, illustrations and the PDF library are served with the website. If these services change, this page will be updated and any required choices will be presented before they are used.
If you email us
We receive the address, name and message you choose to send through our email service. We use these details to handle your enquiry and keep relevant correspondence for as long as needed for that purpose. Contact us at [email protected] to ask about, correct or request deletion of correspondence you have sent.
