STEP BY STEP
Let’s make it.
- Heat a wide skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and pork, breaking it into small pieces. Cook for 7–9 minutes until browned and at least 160°F (71°C).
- Stir in the mushrooms and cook for 3–4 minutes until they release their liquid. Add the ginger and garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
- Add the cabbage, soy sauce, water and pepper. Cover for 3 minutes, then uncover and stir-fry for another 3–5 minutes until the cabbage is tender but still has some bite.
- Stir in the cider vinegar. Let excess liquid bubble away for 1–2 minutes; the vegetables should be glossy rather than swimming in liquid.
- Divide into 4 servings and scatter the measured sesame seeds over each bowl.
